Detailed Description:

Constructive Engineering Design, Inc. (parent company of Steel Frame Alliance) provided all structural engineering for this 87,000 sq. ft. Signature Hangar Office Complex in Hartford, Connecticut.

The structure consists of two hangar buildings – one at 263 ft. clearspan and one at 172 ft. clearspan – with 55 ft. clear height. A pie-shaped office structure separates the two hangars. The design of the two hangars was based on a super truss concept.
